About Us
What is IndexToday?
IndexToday is an essential tool for site owners, bloggers, and content creators who want to instantly crawl and index their web pages on major search engines like Bing, Yandex, Yahoo, Baidu, DuckDuckGo, Naver, and Ecosia.
How Does IndexToday Help Sites Get Indexed in 7+ Popular Search Engines?
While IndexNow currently supports Bing and Yandex search engines, many other popular search engines rely on Bing for their search results. This means that if your site is indexed on Bing, it will also be indexed on several other search engines, including:
- DuckDuckGo: Combines results from various sources, with a significant portion coming from Bing.
- Ecosia: A search engine that plants trees with its profits and primarily gets its search results from Bing.
- Qwant: A privacy-focused search engine from France that uses Bing for some of its results, alongside its own system.
- Yahoo: Relies on Bing for most of its search results due to a partnership with Microsoft.
- Startpage: Another privacy-focused search engine that now depends on Bing for some of its results.
How Does IndexToday Work?
IndexToday uses the IndexNow API to perform URL submissions. IndexNow is a simple way for website owners to instantly inform search engines about changes to their content. By pinging search engines when a URL is added, updated, or deleted, IndexNow ensures that search engines quickly reflect these changes in their search results.
